Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for 2027 benefits is November 2–13, 2026.

This is your annual opportunity to enroll in or make changes to these benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
  • Lifestyle spending accounts (LSAs)
  • Supplemental life insurance
  • Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance

If you don’t do anything during Open Enrollment, your current benefits will continue in 2027, except that current Cigna medical and dental elections will be mapped to the comparable Anthem plans. You must actively enroll in an FSA if you want one in 2027.

Need Help?

Call your Benefit Advocate at 925-378-6846 if you have questions about your benefits or how to enroll.

How to Enroll

When you’re ready to enroll or make changes, log in to Workday through your Okta dashboard to review your plan options and enroll in benefits.

Documentation for Dependents

If you’re enrolling dependents, you may need to provide this documentation:

  • Marriage certificate
  • Birth or adoption certificate

If you’re enrolling in or increasing supplemental life and AD&D insurance coverage for yourself or dependents, you may need to provide Evidence of Insurability.

Additional Step for Recent New Hires

If you’re hired during Open Enrollment, you’ll need to enroll twice: first for the current plan year, then again for 2027.

Ready to enroll?

Before you enroll, see what’s new and changing for the next plan year. There may be changes that are important to you.

You have until 11:59 p.m. on November 13 to enroll or make changes. As a reminder, if you do nothing by the deadline and are currently enrolled in a Cigna medical or dental plan, your enrollment will be mapped to the comparable Anthem plan. You must re-enroll every year in your flexible spending accounts (FSAs).
